1950's Cricket Super Assembled Set

This set was a very early version of the table top Cricket. In the 1950's there was no Subbuteo in the shops, it was all mail order only. This set still has its outer postal box, that is stamped "November 1957". Peter Adolf even had special packaging tape made with "Subbuteo Sports Games" and the logo printed on it. This is the top cricket set available in the 1950's with a complete celluloid team, umpires, bats on wire handles, balls, bails, stumps and the original pitch.
