1998 France 98

The France 98 set was produced to celebrate the 1198 World Cup, at a time when Subbuteo was disappearing from toy shops in England. The set has three teams, which seem to differ depending on the European country it was sold in. The teams were Brazil and France, plus England or Italy. The only extras are a new design of corner kicker and throw-in figure, and a pair of white Tango balls. The new kicker and thrower are exclusive to this set and unavailable on their own as accessories. A picture can be seen on the accessories page. There are apparently different versions of this box depending on the country it was sold in.
