1973-77
Munich
World Series Edition
This set is
often looked upon as being the best set ever produced among Subbuteo
collectors. This huge set was available 1973-76. It has the International
Edition contents, plus Fencing (C108), Half-Time Scoreboard (C111), Police
Set (C113), Bench Set (C114), Scoreboard (C115), Transfers (C129), Corner
Kickers (C131), Throw-In Figures (C132), Interchangeable Goalkeepers
(C133), Ball Boys (C134), Logbook and Wallet (Set L), Referee's Whistle
(Set V), However, unlike the World Cup set, this doesn't have the target
board. These sets, when they do change hands are currently reaching
500-600 GBP. However they are few and far between, mainly due to the
expensive price in 1973 of £9.90, and also because the size of the box
meant that they often got damaged.
