Set Z -
Score Recorder.
"A useful gadget for visual recording of fluctuating
scores. No more arguments about those "added" goals".
The first
scoreboard for Subbuteo was made from cardboard. As illustrated, these
were available in green and red. The three sets of holes in this board
hold the lime name cards that were later re-used in the brown plastic
scoreboard, shown below. This is why the name cards were too long to fit
in the later type scoreboard and had to be trimmed down.
Set
Z was referred to as C115Z in the 1973 catalogue and lost the Z suffix in
1977. It was replaced in 1979 by C158, the black scoreboard still used
today.
